The third one down on the left looks very architectural so it stands out to me. I also like the last sketch, bottom left. Its shape is very interesting.
Number one is a nice composition. Number eleven is the most contrasting. Your calligraphic elements can be stretched in so many ways and I think even in the compositions where you've used just pieces of the calligraphy work very well.
I really like most of your sketches, because they all contain abstract shapes which makes them very interesting. The ones that i think would work best, is the first one in the fifth column and the third on in the fifth column.
I think your line use in most all of your sketches really mimic the crazy Dubai architecture. So, I think your on the right track with the sketches that are more abstract.
I wish I could say that I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to be a graphic designer but it has been a work in progress. After many years of being a successful hair designer I decided I needed a new challenge. I began to persue interior design but there was something missing. I loved using the computer but wanted to be more creative with it. This is when I looked into graphic design and finally felt like I found the right fit. I fell in love with graphic design and feel like I can't learn everything fast enough. But I also want to savor everything I learn so I have taken it slow and will finally be graduating next fall. I am excited to venture into my new career and will be proud to call myself a graphic designer!
