Sheri This is coming along. My concern is that you are developing a design for a raster product, but I dont really get that from the design. IT feels more suitable for illustrator, although I would have to see what you have developed for illustrator. The color look great on screen but be aware of the reproduction of it. The overall layout works and is a vast improvement in the past week. A few suggestions:
Back: Throw in a secondary color of type for headlines or subheads as a way to break up important text. throw the system requirements below that last paragraph or align all of them. it looks odd how they misalign at the bottom
inside: spread looks GREAT! But again introduce another color in the type as all the black makes it boring as nothing draws attention
cover: looks fantastic. is this the best location for the title of the software?
spines: make sure to include the title and logos on all spines. bring the orange back to the other side (right spine)
great work and sorry for my delay in responding. joe
I wish I could say that I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to be a graphic designer but it has been a work in progress. After many years of being a successful hair designer I decided I needed a new challenge. I began to persue interior design but there was something missing. I loved using the computer but wanted to be more creative with it. This is when I looked into graphic design and finally felt like I found the right fit. I fell in love with graphic design and feel like I can't learn everything fast enough. But I also want to savor everything I learn so I have taken it slow and will finally be graduating next fall. I am excited to venture into my new career and will be proud to call myself a graphic designer!
